2007 YOR Conference: Young OR Conference 2007, Bath.

The Conference: This year the Young OR Conference returned to the historic city of Bath. Hartley McMaster consultants Alexa Morrison and Heather Wright attended all 3 days, between 28th and 30th March. The conference is a forum for people who have worked in the field of OR for 10 years or less, to meet and share their knowledge and experience.

Full Schedule of Events: There was a full schedule of presentations and events for delegates to participate in. Heather and Alexa enjoyed the opportunity to attend presentations on a wide variety of OR techniques and applications, and to meet and socialise with other OR practitioners from across the government, academia and private sectors. The Hartley McMaster team also acquitted themselves well in the quiz on the first evening, coming a respectable 2nd.
